Moving Art Atlanta started as an eclectic, collage of black art early 2015. It was an expressive showcase that displayed talent through visual art, clothing and jewelry vendors, and the ever captivating yogi particants. Since it's inaugural show, the show has grown into a total experience. Last year, they hosted two shows in Atlanta and one in New York City. in 2016, they hosted three shows: an anniversary show, a travel show to Miami, and recently a themed show called "Night of Orishas."
The show is truly a one of a kind experience filled with elevated vibrations and energy. Audience members are often encouraged to join yoga demonstrations and dance. Love radiates the room and lingers in the air. It is inviting, organic, and truly a display of love. As the Atlanta Art Renaissance grows and unfolds beyond the city borders, the Moving Art Experience has contributed greatly to the narrative of black art and what is means to be a creative.
